I don't consider these horror, particularly, more spooky and strange tales. They all have a contemporary setting, which is what separates them from my more traditional fantasy stories, although I guess you could call these urban fantasy if you wanted. 'Community Service' Status: published in 'a Tangled Script of Intangible Soul Engravings.' 05/05 Reprinted with 'Afterburn' 01/07 And 'Art and Prose' 10/07 Kate and Stuart have been assigned community service in an overgrown park, but they quickly find that there is more hiding beneath the weeds and wild plants than just beer cans and abandoned trolleys. You can read an extract from it HERE
'The Cat' Status: published in Bewildering Stories 'The Cat' tells of unhappy teenager, Alexander, who prefers his dreams of a mysterious woman to his waking world, where he is the subject of a bully's attention.
'The Succubus' Status: published Ballisata. Issue 3. 09/07 This is a story about a succubus who falls in love with a boy, meant to be her prey, and her battle with those new, unfamiliar emotions, over her nature.
