This is a collection in the making that came around completely by accident. One day I wrote Ellenessia's Curse, a short story that could also act as a prologue to the first book in the series with the same name, the Shadow Seer. I then thought it would be a nice idea to write other short stories, set in the same world, that are based on stories that the characters of the Shadow Seer know and have told each other, and Tales From Carnia was born.

Tales From Carnia is an ongoing process. At the moment only Medyna's Choice, the name now given to the story that was Ellenessia's Curse, is complete, but I have drafted out the White Rose and the Daughter of Night. I have also decided to expand the collection, so that it isn't just stories that are known in Carnia, or during the time of the Shadow Seer. Now it will include stories from before the Shadow Seer and afterwards as well. The reason for this is, simply, that I plan to write two further series, one set before the Ellenessia's Curse series and one after, so I want short stories from those times to add to the collection as well, to make it more complete. This means that this book won't be finished until those other series are, but I will post extracts from them here and will submit a few individual stories to magazines to act as a taster. Please join the mailing list if you want to be kept informed of that.

Medyna's Choice, the first story written for this series and the one that introduces Ellenessia for the first time, has been published by Neo-opsis.
